Good content, well paced, audience involvement good. Overhead's essentially worthless as I could not read small print.
Useful, insightful, clearly presented.
The assumption is that teachers do not use critical thinking in classes. Do they know what it is?
I can really use this with students.
Great ideas about getting students to challenge their pre-conceived notions and ideas.
He engaged audience.
Delivered important concepts.
I liked how you used socratic and explore questioning at times to teach the content.
Modeled approach, required critical thinking from participants, gave handout to use in my teaching.
Made me think more about what I'm already doing in the classroom.

Certain statements delivered that made me think.
Content - 4 directions of Socratic Questioning.
The pace was perfect - clear speaking style - friendly informal style - professional yet low key.
The handout and information on overheads.
Informality - everyone participated.
It was thought-provoking. It was long enough that ideas evolved; we could see the participant's ideas changing right on the spot.
Handouts/transparencies.
Examples, strategies.
Immediate personal response to questions and/or gripes.
Application of techniques in groups.
Used Socratic questioning method to run the workshop. Allowed for differing views w/o becoming defensive.
Good handout. Kept on track, good audience involvement.
Going step by step through an example. Sharing of ideas.

All. Good ideas for engaging students.
Interaction between speaker and participant's.
Practical application and concepts.
Diagrams, examples. Kinds of questions.
The 4 directions diagram and the nose piercing questioning (can apply to class content)
Socratic discussion Judgement, Decision, and Belief Handout and examples/activity.
It will add more structure to the way I use critical thinking in class.

Individual vs. groupwork
How to apply method more to technical curriculum?
His work in his class - more examples of application to various fields.
Judgement, Decision or Belief.
Techniques he uses .... Examples from his classes and experiences.
How does he incorporate other aspects of English composition classes (like grammar,
punctuation, usage). How are these areas amenable to questioning?
Why important? Good response to criticism.
I'd like to pursue more examples of 3 types of questions. I'm going to try developing
these in my courses.

A bit quicker at the beginning. This was too short - I would like a 1/2 day or full day workshop. DUMP LANGFORD, HIRE LAROUCHEI
Really useful to me as a tutor! Workshop should be longer! Have students attend. Time was not long enough. He's really "in it." - Got me in it too. Thanks! Goo clear speaker, great examples. Could give more encouraging feedback (for those of us who need approval and recognition for speaking out). Elaborating on the thought process there!
