CNM'S RECYCLING PROGRAM

The recycling program at CNM has existed for about 20 years. Its primary mission is helping the Institute do its part in an on-going effort of eliminating paper, plastic, cardboard and aluminum can waste by promoting recycling. Although, this program has been very successful in providing this very important service throughout these years, efforts are under way to completely revamp this project to make is more visible and easier for all departments to gladly participate in this most worthwhile venture.
Presently, pick-ups of recycled material from most departments at all campuses are on a weekly basis. This means that Materials Management personnel will pick-up paper, cardboard and aluminum cans, etc. from departments at least once a week; however you can still request pick-up by submitting a Surplus Property Request for Services. Routine checks by Material Management personnel also enhance the entire scheduling effort. There are some guidelines for what types of material can and cannot be recycled.
This web page will be continually updated to keep everyone informed about important issues concerning the recycle program. Please be informed that each department within the college will be individually represented and informed about how their efforts are helping out.
