Guidelines for Submitting A Surplus Property
Request for Services

A REQUEST FOR SERVICES FORM WILL BE USED SOLELY FOR THE PURPOSES OF REQUESTING SERVICES DIRECTLY RELATED TO SURPLUS PROPERTY AND RECYCLING FUNCTIONS AS FOLLOWS:

1. PICK UP OF SURPLUS PROPERTY SUCH AS FURNITURE, EQUIPMENT & SUPPLIES FROM DEPARTMENTAL LOCATIONS FOR DISPOSAL AND/OR STORAGE PURPOSES.

2. PICK UP OF RECYCLABLE MATERIALS SUCH AS PAPER AND METAL PRODUCTS FROM DEPARTMENTAL LOCATIONS.

3. DELIVERY OF STORED EQUIPMENT, SUPPLIES OR FURNITURE FROM THE WAREHOUSE TO DEPARTMENTAL LOCATIONS.

PLEASE NOTE: MATERIALS MANAGEMENT WILL NO LONGER PROVIDE MOVING SERVICES SUCH AS REARRANGING FURNITURE OR LAB FIXTURES WITHIN DEPARTMENTAL AREAS, RELOCATING FURNITURE FROM CAMPUS TO CAMPUS, BUILDING TO BUILDING, OR OFFICE TO OFFICE, ETC.

ALL MOVING SERVICES CAN BE CONTRACTED OUT TO "ALL AMERICAN MOVING SERVICES"--A BANNER BLANKET ORDER HAS BEEN ESTABLISHED FOR THESE TYPES OF SERVICES.  MANAGER OF MATERIALS MANAGEMENT IS AVAILABLE (IF NEEDED) TO ASSIST WITH MAKING ALL ARRANGEMENTS BETWEEN DEPARTMENTS AND MOVING COMPANY.
