Organizational Learning's expanded mission:  to serve all CNM employees

Now staff as well as faculty have a variety of training and professional development opportunities available to them at CNM. The Organizational Learning Division, which came to existence in April, 2006, as the result of the AQIP Professional Development System Team's work, has been given the mission of extending training and professional development to all CNM employees.

Until now, faculty's development needs were being addressed by staff in the Teaching & Learning Center (now renamed the Technology Education Center) while staff had few professional development opportunities available to them.

The new entity's mission includes creating "an inclusive climate which promotes excellent teaching; professional expertise; diversity; enhanced morale; and continuous individual, collegial, and organizational growth and renewal. "  Kayleigh Carabajal is the new Executive Director of Organizational Learning.

As the Fall 2006 term begins, we welcome all new and returning faculty!

The Organizational Learning staff invites all instructors to drop by the Technology Education Center in S-21, South Building, Main Campus, to use our TEC facility, which features fast computers and lots of useful software, including Marcromedia Dreamweaver, Flash, and Adobe Photoshop in addition to Microsoft applications. The TEC Center also has a library of books you can borrow.
