This course provides the participant with an overview of CNM, the CNM classroom, instruction, student learning, assessment, and classroom management through 24 hours of online coursework.  Upon completion of this course, the participant will receive a certificate that satisfies the minimum teaching experience requirement found on the CNM faculty job description. The participant will also be qualified to enroll in Phase II of the CNM Faculty Development Program and begin the Tools for Teaching Course. Any employee interested in teaching courses at CNM–now or in the future–is encouraged to take this course.
