ARTstor workshops

ARTstor is a cataloged online image database of over 500,000 images and their identifying information. The collection is of particular interest to instructors in Art, Humanities, History, Anthropology, Cultural Studies, Religion, and allied disciplines. Access is granted to all CNM faculty, staff and students. Register from a CNM computer to establish an account.

ARTstor part 1 introduces users to the artstor website, collections, content and features. Users will set up an account, receive a password, be taken on a tour and coached through setting up image folders in their account.

ARTstor part 2 introduces users to the Offline Image Viewer (OIV) feature for arranging images into slideshows for presentation; creating personal folders, and exporting images or presentations.

     
Prerequisites:    
  • Basic computer skills that include the use of a mouse and the ability to save and retrieve files, familiarity with internet browser.
