The
mission of the Facility Management/Planning Department is
to correlate the resources available with the needs of the
Central New Mexico Community College.
This mission shall be accomplished by:
- Assessing
needs and gathering data
- Analyzing
and synthesizing information
- Developing
designs and strategies
- Budgeting
The
Facilities Division is an integral entity of the Physical
Plant Department. The PPD Facilities Division oversees and
project manages a multitude of projects of varying size. The
professional staff is responsible for providing design and
planning, project cost estimating, construction documents
and project management for remodeling and renovation projects
of campus facilities. Pending on the size and scope of the
project, the Facilities Department may hire outside Architectural/Engineering
Consultants or may elect to have in-house staff perform the
various phases.
The
Facilities Department also consists of an experienced renovation
team, which will perform the work for minor renovation, alteration
and miscellaneous work requested by the staff and faculty
of CNM.
